Apex 500 is an analogue, licenced two way radio sourced by Apex Radio Systems. It is currently available only in UHF frequencies.

This is a full power radio which requires an Ofcom licence. Apex always code and program licenced equipment for our clients free of charge and ensure that they work together and with existing radio fleets, and in line with Ofcom regulations.

The Apex 500 can be easily programmed to work with many different analogue radios including Vitai.

Key features of this radio are low battery alert and battery save, priority channel scan, monitor and quiet talk.

This radio can have a reach of up to 1 mile in open territory. This radio is also very easy to use and can be considered as an entry level professional radio. We recommend this product to theatres, warehouses and factories. It is also widely popular within education sector.

This product comes within a multi pack containing 6 Apex 500 radios and a 6 way charger, allowing you to charge and store your radios in the same place without needing multiple sockets and numerous storage spaces.

The APX-500 is a full powered UHF radio and therefore requires an Ofcom Licence to be used in the UK. A ‘Simple UK Licence’ is just £75.00 and lasts for 5 years, under which you can have as many radios as you like and use them anywhere within the UK. Apex Radio can apply for this on your behalf. If you already have full power radios & a licence we can clone the frequencies directly from one of the units if it is provided to us.
